When NuCanoe added the Frontier to its paddling line back in 2012 it

made big waves and it’s still making waves today. Whether you are a beginner kayaker or a world renowned bass fishing pro, the NuCanoe Frontier has some amazing features that will give you the some of the most enjoyable and memorable fishing experiences in your life. The Frontier’s hybrid concept takes the best aspects of both a canoe and a kayak to create an incredibly stable, highly maneuverable, comfortable tandem boat.

With a 70” track, the Frontier can easily convert from a single paddler vessel to a tandem one in just minutes and with several seating options, everyone can be comfy (Check out this amazing 360° Pinnacle seat)

Its light weight at only 77lbs unrigged, yet has an amazing maximum weight capacity of 650 lbs. Even fully rigged, there is plenty of extra capacity to store your gear, coolers (why not fill one up with some of our neighbor's awesome ALES), and catch.

The 20” wide cast blast deck not only allows you to stand, but gives you

ample room to WALK, yes I said walk, to cast from any position on the boat. The wide, flat deck also allows for superior stability-feel free to paddle while standing, wander across the deck, jump back and forth, and wrestle that big catch without having to worry about tipping. Even Fido and the youngest fishing companions can easily have access and mobility. Add the 360° Pinnacle seat I mentioned above and you’ve got 360° rotating casting access.

Don’t let the shape of this boat fool you, while it’s wide, low profile allows for unprecedented stability, its moderate rocker contributes to its maneuverability. The Frontier can easily be paddled through kelp beds, reefs and bombies, mangrove shallows, lakes and rivers, coastal cliff-lines with inaccessible shores and even class II rapids.
